Tithing to those in need enriches our experience of giving, because it helps us to recognise and give thanks for the abundance in our own lives Sally Rodd |
What is Tithing?'Tithing' [tie-thing] predates feudal times when people were required to give 10% of their earnings to the church. In a contemporary context, tithing is a conscious choice to contribute financially, or in other ways, to something you believe in.
The Tithing Tree is a purely inspirational site. It is run entirely voluntarily. We provide links to many organizations but do not collect any money via this website, nor charge for any links. E-CardsThe ecards allow you to email an image and a message to your family and friends. You may wish to let them know who you are tithing to this year, or perhaps you want to introduce them to the concept for next year. The artists have kindly given The Tithing Tree permission to use these images. View all cards.Remember! This site is available to view all year. You can choose to tithe on any occasion. |
